About the Gala

An elegant dinner, live entertainment and silent auction.

Fox 2 Detroit Anchor Charlie Langton will serve as host and emcee for the 2024 Gala, held at The Mint at Michigan First Conference Center. Langton will share the microphone with speakers whose inspiring stories have helped impact our students and our program’s future.

The Gala will feature the presentation of LTU’s Edward Donley Distinguished Graduate Award and the Ray Moy Award. The latter honors individuals – students, alumni, and friends – who have made significant contributions in leadership, philanthropy, scholarship, and service.
