MPC Student Computing Center

For years, Lawrence Tech has been an innovator in the use of technology in the classroom. In 2001, we introduced the wireless laptop program — one of the first schools in the nation to do so. And today, all undergraduates receive a powerful “Tech Book” laptop computer that allows access to the University’s network and Internet2 from anywhere on campus.

The MPC Student Computing Center will feature the MPC All-In-One desktop PCs which have the entire system — DVD/CD drive — built into the flat screen monitor. Training, support services (for both students and faculty), new programs, and instructional technology tools that enhance learning will be found here.

At the Student Computing Center, students master today’s technology to ensure their success tomorrow.
