Who is Blue?

Blue is Lawrence Tech's official Blue Devil mascot. You will most likely find him working out in the field house, painting the rock, or hanging out on campus in the studios or the atrium. He enjoys long walks through the quad and romantic meals at the RFOC. Blue's job is to raise the spirit of LTU students, attend student events, and maintain the image of the Blue Devil.

Reserving "Blue"

You can reserve "Blue" for on or off campus events!  Blue must have an escort during the event.

Email to reserve Blue for your next campus event. 

Be as specific as possible.


Thank you for your interest in portraying "Blue", LTU's  Mascot. "Blue" makes appearances at all LTU home sport games and various campus events. He is friendly, animated, and has a big heart! He occasionally enjoys a little mischief.

Below are the requirements to portray "Blue":

• Must be currently enrolled LTU student
• Must be between 5'7" - 6'0"
• Must be in good health
No experience necessary

Complete the Application here, upon completion Student Engagement will be notified. If you are invited to an audition, you will need to prepare a 2 minute skit that showcases your skills and abilities using a montage of musical selections. Props/signs can be used and are encouraged. Feel free to use your creative side. The skit will be presented at your audition. In addition, please prepare a 1 paragraph essay explaining why you wish to portray the Blue Devil mascot.
