Scholars graduates

Congratulations to our first Scholars graduating class: 2012 graduates Arthur Sellers (Computer Engineering), LaTasha Watkins (Electrical Engineering), Khoeung Chov (Biomedical Engineering) and Rose Ellen Filthaut (Business Management)

These accomplished students have been active Scholars since the beginning of our program. Our graduates, from 2012 and every year forward, are pursuing a variety of paths, including graduate school and professional employment. We salute these students who have made the Scholars program a success.

In the spring of 2013, LTU Scholar Rose Brown was awarded a $30,000 Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship. She now combines her loves of science, kids, and teaching to reach Michigan's students in the STEM. Rose started building her teaching experience as a Scholars Tutor and as an instructor at Summer Connections, before she earned her Master's from Eastern Michigan University.
