It’s certainly hard to find any fun in the many precautions demanded by the Coronavirus pandemic. But a computer science student at Lawrence Technological University has managed to come up with one for youthful robot builders.
The Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation has increased the number of all-girl teams it is sponsoring in Robofest, a competition for student-programmed autonomous robots invented by Lawrence Technological University computer science professor C.J. Chung.
Five Lawrence Technological University students and LTU computer science professor CJ Chung will work with a Korean auto parts company and a Russian tech giant to create a taxi service from Detroit’s TCF Center to downtown Detroit hotels for the 2020 North American International Auto Show in June.
