El-Sayed to speak at LTU Commencement ceremonies May 7

Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, physician, former executive director of the Detroit Health Department, and progressive political activist, will be the featured speaker at Lawrence Technological University’s two Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 7. LTU will also confer an honorary doctorate on an alumnus who is now a leading architect, and recognize two business leaders with the University's Alumni Achievement Award.

New LTU student-produced documentary celebrates science trailblazer

Bettye Washington-Greene was a pioneer in research chemistry, earning a PhD and becoming the first Black woman to work in the research labs at Midland’s Dow Chemical. Now, her life has been chronicled by Logan Daniher, a graduating senior in the media communication program at Lawrence Technological University.

Nearly 100 research projects from Lawrence Technological University students and faculty will be showcased at the university’s ninth annual Research Day, Friday, April 22. Research will be presented from many of the university’s 100-plus academic programs in its four Colleges—Architecture and Design, Arts and Sciences, Business and Information Technology, and Engineering.

The thrill of the race: Blue Devil Motorsports unveiling returns to in-person event

Hundreds of Lawrence Technological University students, faculty members, sponsors, alumni, parents, and friends gathered Tuesday at noon for an unveiling of six new vehicles designed and built by LTU students. It’s the first time Blue Devil Motorsports has held an in-person unveiling since the pre-pandemic year of 2019.
