El-Sayed to speak at LTU Commencement ceremonies May 7
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, physician, former executive director of the Detroit Health Department, and progressive political activist, will be the featured speaker at Lawrence Technological University’s two Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 7. LTU will also confer an honorary doctorate on an alumnus who is now a leading architect, and recognize two business leaders with the University's Alumni Achievement Award.Friday, April 29, 2022
New LTU student-produced documentary celebrates science trailblazer
Bettye Washington-Greene was a pioneer in research chemistry, earning a PhD and becoming the first Black woman to work in the research labs at Midland’s Dow Chemical.
