Lawrence Technological University’s Formula SAE car finished second among nine participating schools in its 11th annual Grand Prix Saturday, organized by LTU’s Blue Devil Motorsports student racing organization.
Fifteen high school students from school districts across Southeast Michigan, including Southfield Public Schools and Farmington Public Schools, attended Lawrence Technological University’s Extreme Science Saturday, hosted by LTU’s Marburger STEM Center, on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The howl of high-powered engines will be bouncing off the skyscrapers of Southfield’s City Centre area this Saturday, Oct. 12, as Lawrence Technological University hosts its 11th annual Grand Prix, organized by LTU’s Blue Devil Motorsports student racing organization.
On National Manufacturing Day, Friday, Oct. 4, Lawrence Technological University and its partners dedicated the Centrepolis Accelerator—a bright, modern space with the latest in high-tech prototyping and virtual reality equipment to help entrepreneurs, designers and dreamers create the next generation of hardware. Early Accelerator clients represent a wide variety of industries, from transportation to gaming, from exercise equipment to defense.
