Coronavirus concerns prompt LTU to postpone Commencement, teach online through May
Lawrence Technological University will move to online education for the balance of the Spring 2020 semester and has postponed its scheduled May 9 Commencement ceremony to December. Lawrence Tech President Virinder Moudgil announced the moves in an e-mail to students, faculty, and staff Tuesday night, in response to growing concerns over the Coronavirus pandemic.Wednesday, March 11, 2020
LTU Cisler Lecture postponed
Due to the current situation related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the scheduled March 24 Walker L. Cisler Memorial Lecture at Lawrence Technological University has been postponed, and will be rescheduled for a date this fall. The exact date has yet to be determined. In the lecture, a biotech expert from the University of Michigan, Gil Omenn, was to speak on how issuing "grand challenges" to the scientific community has produced major advances in everything from space science to medicine.Monday, March 9, 2020
