Students can register now for summer semester classes that begin Tuesday, May 26, at Lawrence Technological University, including fast-track certificate programs in rapidly growing career fields. In keeping with social distancing guidelines imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic, all classes will be offered online in the 2020 summer semester, which ends Friday, July 31.

Putting the coronavirus pandemic in historical context in view of earlier plagues is the topic of a new interactive, online symposium offered free by Lawrence Technological University’s College of Arts and Sciences. “Plague Literature in the Time of Coronavirus: an Online Symposium for the Quarantined” will be conducted from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Eastern time Sunday, April 12 online. The series continues with sessions on Fridays, April 17, April 24, May 1, May 8, and May 15, all from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Genna Skalski, who will graduate in May from Lawrence Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Media Communication, won the Friends of Bill Burton Scholarship from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation.
