The Centrepolis Accelerator, a physical product business incubator established last year by Lawrence Technological University and the city of Southfield, is co-sponsoring the first-ever Michigan Hardware Tech Summit, to be held Wednesday, June 19 at the Lexus Velodrome, 601 Mack Ave. in Detroit.

Lawrence Technological University has received a $6,800 grant from Michigan Humanities to support the “Humanity + Technology Lecture Series,” a continuing series of public presentations on the human implications and effects of technology—past, present, and future.

Lawrence Tech is global champ of self-driving cars--for the third year in a row

For the third consecutive year, Lawrence Technological University has won first place in the Self-Drive Challenge event at the 27th annual Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition. LTU was crowned champ late Monday after four days of competition at Oakland University in Rochester.

New partnership adds anti-poverty studies to Lawrence Tech's MBA program

A new, groundbreaking partnership between Lawrence Technological University in Southfield and The PuLSE Institute (Institute for Public Leadership and Social Equity), Detroit’s anti-poverty think tank, will allow students who are enrolled in the MBA program at Lawrence Tech to study the Institute’s initiatives in addressing and identifying solutions to poverty.
