Two students bring L-Book back to life

The L Book, the annual yearbook produced by Lawrence Tech students, was a time-honored tradition that fell by the wayside almost 30 years ago. Now it has come back to life, thanks primarily to the efforts of just two students, Jessica Hatfield and Jess Moon.

Lawson donates $100,000 to name Electrical and Computer Engineering suite

Larry Lawson, BSEE’80, has donated $100,000 to Lawrence Technological University and in appreciation the University has named the Larry A. Lawson Suite of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Chair in his honor.

United States sends 7 teams to the World Robot Olympiad

The United States was represented by a delegation of seven teams at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) held in Doha, Qatar, Nov. 6-8. WRO is a global autonomous robotics competition that started in Singapore in 2004.

Brother Rice students will boost STEM preparation through Lawrence Tech partnership

Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills and Lawrence Technological University (LTU) have formed an academic partnership that will enable Brother Rice students to take courses taught by LTU faculty and earn college credits.

LTU's Faculty and Staff Campaign sets ambitious participation goal

The 2015-16 Faculty and Staff Campaign was officially kicked off on Nov. 3 with a presentation in the UTLC Gallery. This year’s goal is to have 80 percent of full-time employees join in the effort to raise $75,000 by February 2016.
