LTU's Infinite Machine shows off alumni success, student-designed games

Game development offers careers that are fun ways to deal with serious business. That was the word Wednesday night from half a dozen alumni of Lawrence Technological University’s game art and game software development programs, who gathered with about 75 students and faculty for the second annual Infinite Machine Networking Night.

Big crowd expected for April 20 for LTUX anime con, gaming expo

An event at Lawrence Technological University that drew 1,200 people to the univesrity’s Southfield campus last year is coming back Saturday, April 20 with a new name. LTU Expo (LTUX) 2019, formerly known as the LTU Anime Con and Gaming Expo, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on campus. Lawrence Tech relaunches Recovery Starts Here training program for displaced workers

During the last recession in 2007-09, Lawrence Technological University launched Recovery Starts Here, a program for hundreds of displaced workers that included scholarships, new academic programs to prepare students for a changing global market, and personally focused career services. Now, the university is once again taking steps to help those in Michigan who are seeking re-training.

College prep website wins LTU faith-based business pitch contest

A new website that would aggregate content on homework assistance and college admissions and financial aid won first place in a business pitch competition for high school youth from faith-based institutions, held March 7 at Lawrence Technological University’s Southfield campus.
