LTU expanding sports teams, seeks athletes for fall 2021

SOUTHFIELD—Lawrence Technological University is seeking an additional 200 student-athletes in new and expanded competitive, intercollegiate teams for the fall semester of 2021.

Lawrence Tech is adding new varsity teams in eSports, women’s hockey, and cheerleading.

And LTU is expanding the rosters of its track and field, women’s bowling, and competitive dance team, as well as its marching band.

Lawrence Tech’s sports teams are part of the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Most of its teams play in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.

“Students who wish to attend a nationally ranked university and continue to participate in their sports in college should seriously consider Lawrence Tech,” said Lisa Kujawa, associate provost for enrollment and outreach. “We offer highly ranked technological degrees that lead to rewarding careers that solve some of society’s most pressing problems.
