LTU awarded $150,000 grant to expand entrepreneurial education

The Chicago-based Coleman Foundation has awarded Lawrence Technological University a two-year, $150,000 grant to increase student participation in entrepreneurial education that is already occurring on campus.

Lawrence Tech wins $50,000 DENSO grant for new bio-robotics lab

The DENSO North America Foundation has awarded $50,000 to Lawrence Technological University (LTU) to help create a new multidisciplinary bio-robotics lab that will benefit students in two growing bachelor’s degree programs in biomedical engineering and robotics engineering. Students in traditional programs in electrical and computer engineering and mechanical engineering will also benefit.

Peters, Davis and Dow honored at 81st Commencement

Congressman and U.S. Senate candidate Gary Peters (D-MI) received an honorary doctorate of humanities and gave the commencement address when Lawrence Tech’s 81st Commencement Exercises were held on May 11 at the Ultimate Soccer Arenas in Pontiac.
