Southfield, Mich. – Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a day at one of Metro Detroit’s most prestigious golf courses while also contributing to important capital, program and scholarship needs at Lawrence Technological University.
The fifth annual Tech Invitational, a golf outing to support Lawrence Tech, will be held Monday, Aug. 11, at Meadowbrook Country Club in Northville. This private club hosts very few outside events, so this is a rare opportunity to play this challenging championship course.
A limited number of foursomes and sponsorships are still available. Lawrence Tech supporters can donate items for the silent auction. Tickets are also available for the reception and dinner only.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the shotgun start to the scramble format is at noon. The cocktail reception begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the dinner and awards ceremony for the many skill contests held throughout the day.
Tech Invitational golf outings to date have raised more than $450,000 for capital, program and scholarship needs at Lawrence Tech.
