SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Lawrence Technological University’s Transportation Design and Industrial Design faculty and students will hold their annual Industry Design Show reception and design showcase Thursday, May 4 from 5 to 9 p.m.
The event begins at 5 p.m. with presentations of freshman and sophomore design projects in the A210 Gallery of LTU’s Architecture Building. At 6 p.m. in the A100 Auditorium, there will be a presentation on industry-sponsored projects and program highlights. And from 6:30 to 9 p.m., there will be a Junior and Senior Design Showcase in the Gallery of the University Technology and Learning Center.
“Our design show is a great event for industry professionals seeking design talent, as well as others, such as high school students, parents, and guidance counselors wanting to learn more about design careers and LTU,” said Keith Nagara, director of the Transportation Design Program at LTU. “The students are enthusiastic to showcase their industry sponsored projects, including sponsors Magna, Ford, Chevrolet, Michelin, and Harman.”
Parking for the events, which are free and open to the public, is available in lots off LTU’s 10 Mile Road entrance. For more information, a campus map and directions, visit www.ltu.edu/show.
