"HOME" showing kicks off LTU sustainability quest

home_feature.jpg“HOME,” a movie about the future of the planet, will be shown in the Architecture building auditorium (A200) Thursday, March 1, at 6 and 9 p.m. and Sunday, March 4, at 7 p.m. The movie is free and open to the public.

preview of the movie can be seen on YouTube.

The movie will serve as a kickoff for LTU’s sustainability quest this year, according to Associate Professor Janice Means.

Yann Arthus-Bertrand, president of GoodPlanet Foundation, urges everyone to see the movie.

“We are living in exceptional times. Scientists tell us that we have 10 years to change the way we live, avert the depletion of natural resources and the catastrophic evolution of the Earth’s climate. The stakes are high for us and our children. Everyone should take part in the effort, and HOME has been conceived to take a message of mobilization out to every human being,” he said.
