LTU president to discuss breast cancer prevention Oct. 25

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – “Breast Cancer, Hormones, and You” will be presented by Lawrence Technological University President and CEO Virinder Moudgil, a leading researcher on the topic, on Thursday, Oct. 25, at the university located at 21000 West 10 Mile Road in Southfield.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in room M218 of the Buell Building.

Moudgil has spent much of his professional career researching the molecular mechanisms and relationships between hormones and breast cancer. His work has been supported by the National Institutes of Health and others.

Lunch will be provided by Hungry Howie’s and a gift will be presented to the first 50 attendees. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
