Release Date: November 17, 2014
Faculty and Staff Campaign Kickoff

LTU President Virinder Moudgil (L) helped kick off the annual Faculty and Staff Campaign on Nov. 11. With him are two of the three co-chairs, Lisa Anneberg and Joyce McKissen, and the campaign coordinator, Lauren Morris.

The 2014-2015 Faculty and Staff Campaign was officially kicked off on Nov. 11 with a presentation in the UTLC Gallery. This year’s goal is to raise $175,000 by March 2015.

This year’s campaign will be led by three co-chairs: Arts and Sciences Associate Dean Glen Bauer, representing the University’s administration; Joyce McKissen, secretary for the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Communication, representing staff; and Associate Professor Lisa Anneberg of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, representing the faculty.

The co-chairs will be assisted by team leaders from departments across campus. The campaign will be coordinated by Lauren Morris, director of alumni relations and annual giving in the Office of University Advancement.

Faculty and staff can choose from a number of different projects and funds to support – including student scholarships, facilities, and academic research and technology.

Gifts to this annual campaign also demonstrate to the LTU community and potential donors that employees are invested in the success of Lawrence Tech and its students. Gifts of any size will make a difference, especially in helping reach the goal of 50 percent participation.

Progress toward the $175,000 goal will be on display in the atrium of the Buell Management Building, reminding students and visitors that they can learn more about the campaign online.

Faculty and staff can visit lawrencetech.net/FSC to make their gifts and to learn more about the campaign.
