Community Design Day in Windsor features work of LTU alumna

As part of the first North American Community Design Day on Aug. 22, LTU alumna Julia Jovanovic and staff members of the Ten Friends Diner in Windsor gave a presentation about the participatory design process and the benefits of the diner re-design that Jovanovic led while a student in LTU’s architecture master’s program.

Associate Professor Edward Orlowski of LTU’s Department of Architecture introduced the program and explained the purpose of Community Design Day that was held in cities across the United States and Canada.
