Due to the current situation related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the scheduled March 24 Walker L. Cisler Memorial Lecture at Lawrence Technological University has been postponed, and will be rescheduled for a date this fall. The exact date has yet to be determined.

In the lecture, a biotech expert from the University of Michigan, Gil Omenn, was to speak on how issuing "grand challenges" to the scientific community has produced major advances in everything from space science to medicine.
