LTU Greeks are ready to 'represent their letters'

The annual Greek Games competition between the fraternities and sororities of LTU was the highlight of last year’s Greek Week.

There is a full agenda of activities for Greek Week 2013, which will be held at Lawrence Technological University this week, April 15-20.

On Movie Monday, “Old School” will be shown at 9 p.m. in A200.

On Tacky Tuesday, Greeks will show off their over-the-top outfits.

Wednesday is the day when all the Greeks will proudly display the letters of their fraternities and sororities. At 12:15 p.m. outside the Buell Building atrium, the competition for Greek Day points will begin with the egg toss.

On Throwback Thursday, the Greeks will revisit the fashions of earlier eras.

Fancy Up Friday offers the opportunity for Greeks to strut their stuff. The quest for Greek Days points continues with a whiffle ball home run derby in the Field House starting at 12:15 p.m.

One of the highlights of the week is the Song and Skit program at 9 p.m. on Friday in S100.

Saturday is Greek Day, and the games begin at 10 a.m. Sigma Pi will host its annual pig roast for the campus community at noon outside the Engineering Building.

LTU fraternities and sororities encourage alumni and alumnae to come back for Greek Week and Greek Day activities.
