BME Grad Student accepted for Scientist Mentor & Diversity Program

BME graduate student, Fatima Majid, has been accepted to the Scientist Mentor & Diversity Program (SMDP) as a SMDP Scholar where she will be assigned a mentor in the field to help guide her in her educational and career endeavors. SMDP is an initiative of the International Center for Professional Development (ICPD). ICPD promotes career success in STEM fields primarily benefiting ethnically diverse and underrepresented groups with a specific focus on expanding career opportunities in the life sciences, medical technology and consumer healthcare industries. The BME Department congratulates Fatima on this new opportunity!
