Michigan Department of Transportation Director Kirk Steudle, a 1987 civil engineering graduate of Lawrence Tech, will be the alumnus speaker at the College of Engineering’s Campus Open House program for prospective students on Saturday, Feb. 22.
Registration will start at 9:30 a.m. in the Buell Management Building atrium. The College of Engineering program will start at 10 a.m. in room S100 of the Science Building. There will be an introduction to the University and the College of Engineering, followed by a student presentation of four senior projects. After Steudle provides his perspective as an alumnus, there will be a student panel discussion. Following the program, perspective students and their parents can tour several engineering labs.
