  • Entrepreneurial Finance: basic financial tools needed in running a small business. Brief descriptions: presentation of financial metrics/tools for short-term financial planning (operations, liquidity) for effective decision-making and controlling purposes; long-term financial decisions (measuring profitability of business and using various risk metrics).
  • Personal Finance: discussion of rational financial behavior - what represents a good financial discipline and habits, what are common mistakes done by many people in their regular financial decisions; presentation and discussion of key financial decisions made by individuals (use of debt, ownership vs. rent decisions etc.), investments for individuals.
  • Derivatives: how these tools can be used by individual investors and traders. Brief description: presentation of basic applications of futures and options by individual investors and traders: what are advantages of using these tools, what are the risks associated with derivatives.
