GIVING

LEADERSHIP Circle

Leadership Circle recognizes donors who make a cumulative investment totaling $1,000 or more during the fiscal year. It is a new initiative launched under President Tarek Sobh who feels passionately about building a strong culture of philanthropy at Lawrence Tech.

As one of his first priorities as LTU’s 8th President, Dr. Sobh is well aware of the endless possibilities charitable support provides. To honor this commitment to strengthening the culture of philanthropy at Lawrence Tech, the Leadership Circle has been created to inspire alumni and friends to partner with LTU. As a Leadership Circle member, you can help design what LTU’s students and faculty bring to life, laying the foundation to build a future full of possibility…together.

There are endless ways to impact LTU through Leadership Circle gifts. You have the opportunity to designate your support to an area(s) of greatest interest to you including scholarships, facilities, academic programs, research and/or the Annual Fund. Leadership Circle donors ensure students are on a path to success and well on their way to expanding their impact as the next generation of leaders.

quotes1

Philanthropy is the cornerstone to problem solving... to opening doors to new ways of thinking... to seizing new opportunities and propelling a vision forward... and always to making a difference in the lives of others.

At LTU, my life positively changed thanks to opportunities to gain work experience, overcome personal challenges and acquire understanding of my career path. “I received the University Honors Scholarship, as well as an athletic scholarship for Golf. I would like to thank all the donors who made my experience possible and beneficial. My favorite memory from LTU was when our electric motor for Formula Electric spun for the first time. I would not have accessed experiences like this without donor support and for that I will forever be grateful.”

“My life has changed tremendously since coming to LTU. With my connections, in the classroom and out, I’ve obtained a job, received a scholarship, joined multiple campus organizations, and found my love for science. I wouldn’t be who I am without the opportunities LTU donors have made possible. ‘Thank you’ isn’t enough to express how truly grateful I am.”

By supporting Lawrence Technological University, you are changing the lives of every student and the community. Participation by alumni and friends is necessary to keep up with evolving technologies and student needs. Your gift will provide the tools needed to help students to succeed in becoming tomorrow's leaders.
Every gift makes a difference and is appreciated, but we are challenging alumni and friends to consider a gift of at least $1,000 annually. This builds such a strong base of support that enables LTU to provide more scholarships, establish new programs and initiatives that give students an exceptional academic and extracurricular experience, and purchase equipment and new technology. Leadership Circle members build a strong and steady base of support.
