Peter Schmitt

Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of Dialogue Marketing in Auburn Hills. Dialogue Marketing provides customer relationship management (CRM) services for companies of all sizes and across industries to acquire, support, and retain customers. Schmitt leads technical and strategic development planning, marketing and sales initiatives, partnerships, and innovation for the firm and its business units, which employ nearly 900 people. He is also a director of the company, which was named one of 2011's fastest-growing private companies in America by Inc. magazine in acknowledgment of its jump of 871 spots from the 2010 list with three-year growth of 203 percent and 2010 revenue of $30.4 million. Dialogue Marketing has recently announced plans to invest $5 million in its Troy operations, with an expected 230 new jobs over the next five years. The company's insurance division, Insurance Dialogue, recently recruited 200 new employees in the Detroit area. Schmitt led a private equity group to acquire Dialogue Marketing in 2001 and later developed Donor Dialogue, a division that provides services and products that assist blood centers in reaching their operational and recruitment goals. Prior to his current position, Schmitt was executive director of St. Petersburg, Fla.-based PSCU Financial Services and president of Total Member Care, a provider of call center operations and software solutions to credit unions. In 2004, Schmitt launched Shanghai-based Techrim ITE, a software development company that offers mobile and Web-based CRM solutions. He also served as an investment banker with Citicorp. Named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Schmitt received his bachelor's degree in marketing from John Carroll University and his master's degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

The other is software development centered around CRM applications and applications to make the customer experience better. We're really leveraging information that is already contained when consumers shop, and using our networks to make decisions with data to provide predictive analysis of future events around product purchases and consumer loyalty.”
