WHERE BORN: “Grosse Pointe Farms, but I grew up in Sterling Heights.”

MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS: “It may sound cliché but it was my father. When I first started out, I was working with a construction company that he owned and learned a lot of skills and lessons that translate today - customer service and attention to detail, giving back, and giving people an opportunity. And through today, there have been a variety of people that I work with in my company now and on boards that keep me motivated every day. Also, my wife really balances me out and keeps me on track.”

LAST BOOK READ:What Got You Here Won't Get You There by Marshall Goldsmith.”

WORDS THAT DESCRIBE ME: “Optimistic, persistent, ambitious, creative yet analytical, curious, and giving.”

WHERE MY FIELD/INDUSTRY IS HEADED: “There's consolidation and yet IT and technology are expanding into every facet of business and into every corner of our lives. Consolidation from a hardware standpoint; everything is software-driven now. It's about being able to leverage various technologies to develop innovative solutions and drive revenue for companies, and getting people to put the right pieces of the puzzles together to drive value. Also, IT is now more business-oriented than in the past.”

FAVORITE TECHNOLOGICAL GADGET: “Virtualization. It's been around for years but really is the enabler behind cloud computing and being able to be mobile with devices that we have and to access information and applications. It's allowed for rapid projects to be done.”

FAVORITE PLACE: “Underwater. I'm very big into diving and volunteer with a few teams and do it recreationally quite a bit. It's my escape and my therapy.”

FAVORITE HOBBIES: “Diving, boating, and vacationing with my friends and family.”

FAVORITE FOOD: “I honestly don't have a favorite food. We dine out a lot and love nice restaurants but my favorites are home-cooked meals with my family. It's more of a treat.”

MY HIDDEN TALENT: “Carpentry, graphic design, and architecture. Something I've trained for quite a bit is rescue diving.”

HOW I WANT TO BE REMEMBERED: “As someone who gave back and tried to create opportunities for others who couldn't do so for themselves. I really believe in karma.”
