Pavlov is responsible for investor relations, corporate development, and finance and oversees the development and commercialization of all transportation applications. He is a 20-year veteran of the automotive industry and has built and managed businesses for both automakers and suppliers. Previously at WaveCrest, he was director of vehicle systems and vice president and general manager. Prior to WaveCrest, Pavlov worked for Visteon Corp. where he was responsible for creating and staffing a department of 60 professionals to develop by-wire applications in the areas of brakes, steering, driveline, and interactive vehicle dynamics. Before that, he spent eight years at Ford Motor Co., first in the company's electronics division and then as part of Ford core engineering. His groups were responsible for the design and launch of the first North American– designed stability management system for the Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type. This system is now employed on numerous Ford platforms. Earlier, Pavlov was an engineer for Alfred Teves Corp., responsible for customer relations and the design and launch of ABS/traction control systems for the Lincoln Mark VII, Continental, and Town Car and the Ford Taurus, Mercury Sable, and Ford Probe. Pavlov is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Society of Automotive Engineers. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical-electronic engineering from University of Detroit Mercy (UDM), a master's degree in electronics and computer control systems from Wayne State University, an Executive MBA from Michigan State University's Advanced Management Program, and is completing an MBA in business turnaround management from UDM.
