Ron Lisch

Chief Executive Officer of Coretek Services in Farmington Hills. Coretek is an IT consulting company that provides systems integration and virtualization products and services to clients in a wide range of industries. Under Lisch's leadership, Coretek has grown from a group of four in 2005 to a team of 120 professionals. Lisch's dedication to creating a company culture where great people want to work has been recognized by the National Association for Business Resources, which named Coretek one of the National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in 2012 and one of Metropolitan Detroit's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in each of the past four years. Coretek volunteer teams assist area food banks and participate in international mission trips and home improvement projects for local communities. Prior to Coretek, Lisch started a successful real estate development company, Kolbe Properties. He sold the company in 2005 and that same year started Coretek. Before that, he worked for a small systems integrator called The Lead Group. After a series of buyouts and acquisitions, Lead became Siemens IT Professional Services Group. During his decade at Siemens, Lisch was consistently named a top regional and national sales representative. He received his bachelor's degree in finance from Indiana University Bloomington's Kelley School of Business.

WHERE MY FIELD/INDUSTRY IS HEADED: “IT consulting, especially the infrastructure space, is how to help clients find a good balance between the private and public cloud and how to move and manage things between them. We put together the best strategy and the nuts and bolts of getting there. We're spending time with our clients to get them virtualized – they're already on servers – but getting them to the end point using any device any time.”
