Mark Petroff

President and CEO of Marketing Associates LLC in Detroit. Petroff is driving Marketing Associates' development as a technology-enabled provider of marketing services. Marketing Associates, with offices in Detroit and Delaware and more than 200 employees, is a digital marketing company whose clients include Ford, Comcast, DuPont, and Starwood Hotels. Previously, Petroff was a partner in the financial advisory services practice of Deloitte. He served as the global leader for the practice's automotive industry segment as well as a general securities principal in Deloitte's investment banking group, Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance LLC. Under his leadership, Marketing Associates has been widely recognized as a best workplace. The company recently received awards from Crain's Detroit Business as a Cool Places to Work in Michigan, by the Detroit Free Press as a Top 100 Workplaces of 2012, and as a Michigan Business and Professional Association 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For. The company supports several nonprofits and organizations including the United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and Gleaners. Petroff also served as a commissioned officer in the Navy's submarine force. His experience included training assignments in the Nuclear Propulsion Program, engineering assignments at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, and operational duty aboard a nuclear-powered submarine. He recently was elected a director of the Automotive Hall of Fame. Petroff received his bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering with merit from the United States Naval Academy and his MBA from the University of Michigan.
