JOB TITLE:  Senior Lecturer

SUMMARY:
Develops, teaches and evaluates the didactic curriculum of the Master of Science in Cardiovascular Perfusion (MSCVP) program. Be actively involved with student advising, program accreditation, and scholarly activities. One-year full-time faculty position with the possibility for renewal.

JOB DUTIES:

• Teaches and develops graduate courses for the MSCVP program, particularly in the area of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and research methods.


• Teaches relevant courses for other health science programs as needed.


• Directs student capstone research projects.


• Keeps regular office hours to provide easy access for students.


• Participates in data collection, program accreditation application and maintenance.


• Participates in university and professional service activities.


• Maintains current knowledge in fields of expertise.


• Performs additional duties as assigned by the program director.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Ph.D. or Sc.D. in Anatomy, Physiology or a related field.


• At least two years of professional experience in the field, and a minimum of one year teaching experience at the college level.


• Background knowledge and experience explicitly pertaining to cardiovascular perfusion a plus.
