JOB TITLE: Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving

The Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving reports to the Assistant Vice President for Development (AVP) and is responsible for the development and implementation of programs that engage and serve Lawrence Technological University alumni and promote alumni giving through the LTU Annual Fund and other giving opportunities. The primary objectives of the Director of Alumni Relations and Alumni Giving at Lawrence Technological University are to:

Promote philanthropy and outreach to alumni and friends of the University through a well- organized and focused Annual Giving program.
Establish ongoing and consistent communication to our alumni and other constituent groups;
Serve the needs of our alumni through effective event programming, alumni services, volunteer opportunities and outreach activities to engage them in the life of the University;
Provide opportunities for our alumni and other constituents to grow in their philanthropic support of Lawrence Tech.

The Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving, working closely with the Assistant Vice President, the LTU Alumni Association and key alumni volunteers, is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising programs that achieve these objectives. Specific duties include but are not limited to:

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred; A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible alumni relations or annual fund experience, preferably in a higher education environment; exposure in both areas would be ideal. A strong track record with donor acquisition and revenue growth in annual giving. Proven success in creating dynamic pathways to fully engage alumni and metrics to drive outcomes. High level of curiosity and willingness to learn and adapt.
