The Privacy Rule of the Federal law, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), establishes standards to protect the confidentiality of person's Protected Health Information (PHI). Lawrence Technological University privacy polices, established to comply with the Privacy Rule, apply to everyone employed by the University. The Notice of Privacy Practices document details our privacy practices and your rights with respect to the handling of your personal health information in accordance with the HIPAA.

The Information Security Program: Securing the Human is a series of educational videos that covers topics such as Wi-Fi Security, HIPAA, Working Remotely, Red Flags Rule, and Personally Identifiable Information.
