Check out our tour opportunities and virtual experiences below to start making connections with LTU admissions and financial aid counselors. We understand you may not able to join us on campus at this time, so we invite you to visit our virtual tour of campus to see our residence halls, classrooms, laboratories and studios.

Campus Tour - Students will have the opportunity to tour our beautiful Southfield, MI campus with one of our Student Ambassadors to see if Lawrence Tech is the right fit! Admissions Counselors are available to answer questions at the end of the tour.  Daily tours will be offered Monday-Friday at 10am and 2pm. The health and safety of our campus community is important to us and we will be practicing social distancing and require our guests to wear masks.

Phone Meeting with Financial Aid Counselor - Schedule a phone call with a Financial Aid Counselor to discuss topics related to FAFSA, student loans or financial aid needs.

Virtual Placement Assessments - We will be conducting placement assessments remotely using Zoom. To test, you will need a computer (desktop or laptop) with a webcam and audio capabilities.  You will also need a valid photo ID.  Please click on the placement subject to register:

Test Optional for Fall 2021 – Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Lawrence Tech has made a temporary change in our standardized test submission policy to protect the health and well-being of our future students. Freshman applicants for the Fall 2021 semester will have the option to apply without submitting an ACT or SAT score. Students who do not submit a standardized test score will be reviewed for our Scholastic Achievement Scholarships. Students who would like to receive full consideration for merit-based scholarships will still be required to submit a standardized test score. Virtual Graduate + Transfer Open House - Thursday, July 16 from 5:30–7 p.m. join LTU faculty, admissions and financial aid staff as we highlight ways to take your education to the next level!  Faculty will host breakout sessions to talk about program overviews and answer questions from students. Admissions and financial aid will provide information about the application process, transfer credits, scholarships, student loans and more!

Transfer Credit Policy for Winter/Spring 2020 Semester - Many institution across the country have moved to offering instruction online, including LTU. Your institution may have implemented an alternative grading option that includes Credit/No Credit or Pass/Fail. LTU will accept any grade that is listed in the transcript where the transcript legend states the earned grade is equivalent to a C or better.
