Karen Evans

Karen Evans, JD is an attorney, speaker, and consultant with a focus on helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses, and conducting training program design and implementation. Karen is also an adjunct faculty member in the College of Management and the College of Arts and Sciences at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI where she taught her first course in 2004. She has been featured on several television and radio news programs for her business expertise - and as an expert contributor for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education. She was named Most Valuable Entrepreneur by Corp! Magazine in 2017 and was featured at TEDxGVSU with her talk on The Motherhood Penalty. Karen earned her Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School and lives in metro Detroit. In her spare time, she performs improv comedy, writes, and standup paddleboards (when weather permits).
