Laura Moore

Laura earned a BA in Broadcast Journalism and English Literature from the University of Miami in Florida. She was extremely appreciative to learn from journalists working in the industry in a hands-on live studio environment. After graduation- she began her career at the McNeil Lehrer Newshour in Virginia, followed by television news opportunities in Miami, Raleigh and Flint before landing in Detroit at WJBK, Fox 2. She joined LTU as an adjunct professor nearly a decade ago teaching two semesters of Power Producing. She's excited to return to teaching this year with the opportunity to take on Advanced Writing for Media.
