Alisa Mullaj
Alisa earned an MA in English from Wayne State University in August of 2019. During her graduate work at WSU she focused on world literature ranging from medieval times to young adult literature. In her directed study courses she focused on creating a course that would study literature and its adapted versions--i.e. a Shakespearean play adapted into a novel.
Alisa teaches a variety of first-year writing courses at Lawrence Tech, Wayne State University and Rochester University. This semester, she is also teaching two sections of World Literature from 1650-present course at Oxford High School. Outside of her teaching and academic career, she enjoys reading diverse fiction novels and spending time with her two kids and husband.
