Peter Davis
Davis is co-director and professor with Elizabeth Wetzel of the Transportation Design department.
He is a leader with extensive professional experience with interior and exterior automotive design. He has further experience with product design, UX/UI, craftsmanship, and color, materials, and finishes development.
His 38-year background includes diverse international experiences with automotive design in Germany, Italy, Korea, Japan, India, and China.
His contracts with Opel Design, Fiat Centro Stile, GM Design, Tata Technologies, Pixlhut, and Bordrin New Energy Vehicle Corp. have offered him myriad creative opportunities in different languages and cultures. Other professional engagements include three semesters as an adjunct design professor at the College for Creative Studies, and as design consultant to Chris Bangle Associates.
Peter is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, Calif. (BS 1981) and attended the University of Vermont (Fine Arts, 1975-77).
