Aviva Gordon

After a 30 year career with AT&T, Gordon received her BA magna cum laude in Human Resource Development from Oakland University (2010), a MA in Communication (2013) and graduate certificate in College and University teaching (2015), both from Wayne State University. 

Gordon is currently working on her PhD in the College of Education - Learning Design and Instruction , through Wayne State. Her research is focused on nonverbal feedback between student and teacher at the undergraduate college level.
 Gordon is passionate about educating our next generation - our future leaders; she believes that solid writing skills can positively influence every facet of one’s daily personal and professional communication.

She serves as an adjunct professor of English at LTU, and Communication and Speech at Oakland Community College. In addition, Gordon has published articles in The Jewish Press and Women in Judaism.

Her hobbies include communal endeavors, power walking, yoga, knitting and needlepoint.
