Farhad Ghoddoussi

Farhad Ghoddoussi received his Ph.D. in physics from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI in Dec. 2003. His dissertation topic was "electro-optical characterization of ferromagnetic liquid crystals" working under the supervision of Dr. Paul H. Keyes. He was a visiting Assistant Professor at Oakland University from Jan 2004 till August 2005. From October 2005 to September 2008 he was a Post- Doctoral fellow at the pre-clinical Neuroimaging lab at the Psychiatry Department of Wayne State University working under the supervision of Dr. Matthew P Galloway. Since 2008 till now he has been a research associate at the Wayne State University- School of Medicine in the Anesthesiology Department. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed papers. His research has been mainly focused on Clinical Anesthesiology and the application of magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and imaging (MRI) in neuroscience. He has been an adjunct lecturer, teaching different introductory physics courses and labs at different metro-Detroit Universities and Community Colleges including LTU (since 2000)for more than 20 years.
