Miller-Wietecha works with LTU leaders to grow online opportunities for LTU students. She assists faculty in developing online programs that engage and excite LTU students. Miller-Wietecha holds a PhD in Instructional Design from Wayne State University and teaches graduate courses in instructional design, assessment and evaluation, and educational technology.
She has presented at national conferences, including Quality Matters, Online Learning Consortium (OLC), International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT), as well as state-level conferences. Miller-Wietecha was past-president and continues to serve on the board of directors of the Educational Technology Organization of Michigan (ETOM). She researches best practices in online education, instructional design and program evaluation.
