He earned a bachelor's degree from Baghdad University, a master’s degree from the United Nations institute in the Middle East, a master’s degree in Britain and a PhD in Belgium. His education helped him to learn four languages: Arabic, English, French and Chaldean.

This committee designed a complete paradigm in manufacturing engineering education. Courses were developed and delivered at Focus: HOPE by three university partners.
