G. Eric Winston
Professor Winston began his academy work obtaining his bachelor in Finance from the Wayne State University. After graduating Professor Winston moved to the investment field and worked as a financial advisor for nearly 20 years. During this time Professor Winston returned to college to focus on his graduate studies. Later, Professor Winston obtained his graduate degrees from the University of Detroit, one in Economics and the other Business.
Around 2010 Professor Winston started teaching and continues to work at several Metro-Detroit area colleges. His areas of focus are income inequality, behavioral economics/finance and the financial markets. Outside the academy arena Professor Winston enjoys family time, reading, some writing, combat sports, bad action movies and trying to get a long nap.
