Brian Kaminski, MS, RN, AGACNP-BC serves as Senior Lecturer of Nursing at Lawrence Technological University. He earned MS with a focus in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Certificate in Nursing Education, and BSN from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
Since 2013, Mr. Kaminski has taught nursing students in multiple roles at the undergraduate and graduate levels for University of Michigan School of Nursing. Additionally, he has served as an adjunct clinical instructor for Davenport University – Lansing Campus. Mr. Kaminski has worked for multiple healthcare systems including Michigan Medicine, Ascension Michigan and Beaumont Health System. He maintains clinical practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Trauma Surgery/Surgical Critical Care and Orthopedics.
Mr. Kaminski continues to be professionally active in numerous nursing organizations, including MICNP. He is supportive of mentorship, excellence and research within Nursing. Mr. Kaminski believes in self-directed learning and partnering with students to achieve success in their studies. His role is to maintain and promote an open, diverse and inclusive environment for teaching and learning and provide students with the resources and tools for success to learn new knowledge and achieve course objectives.
