Adam Lobbestael

Lobbestael received his PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, specializing in geotechnical engineering. His research interests include dams and levees, slope stability, numerical modeling, geotechnical earthquake engineering, soil liquefaction, and soil-structure interaction. Dr. Lobbestael is a member of the United States Society on Dams, the American Society of Engineering Education, and the ASCE Geo-Institute and is an active member of the G-I Committee “Embankments, Dams, and Slopes.”
