Colette Sherfey

Colette Sherfey is the Associate Director of University Advising at Lawrence Technological University. Colette assists the Director by coordinating the advising process throughout the university, and helps students with their college development.

Colette earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in Higher Education and Student affairs, while gaining a graduate certificate in Academic Advising from Eastern Michigan University. She specialized in intrusive advising, positive psychology, international education, LGBTQ inclusion, and students with disabilities. Colette is an MBTI Certified Practitioner, and her preference is ENFP.

When not at work, Colette can be found at comic conventions, going to the movies, reading the latest YA fantasy novel, playing video games, or cuddling her cats.
