Speaker Biography

Dr. Taiwo Moses SamuelDr. Taiwo Moses Samuel is working as a faculty member at the Olabisi Onabanjo University. He is a Senior Lecturer and Acting Dean of Engineering and Deputy Provost, College of Engineering and Environmental Studies Ibogun Campus.

He was at Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi (FIIRO) for his sabbatical in 2011. He is a lecturer at Olabisi Onabanjo University since 2003. Dr. Samuel was a project manager and shift manager at Consolidated Foods & Beverages Limited, Lagos. He was production engineer at Sahara Engineers Limited, Ibadan. Dr. Samuel was a lecturer at Federal College of Agriculture (IAR&T), Ibadan and Industrial/Production Engineer at Tropical Development Engineering Company Limited, Ibadan. He was Pupil Engineer at Purethought Engineering Company Limited, Ibadan during 1995 – 1996. Dr. Samuel was an Information Officer (NYSC) at Raw Materials Research & Development Council, Awka and Laboratory Assistant at Mathematics & Statistics Dept. The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Nigeria.

Currently, Dr. Samuel is visiting University of Michigan for a training program. He has published numerous conference and journal papers. He is a member, Nigerian Society of Engineers, Registered Engineer, Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers, Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Management and Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology, Member Nigerian Institute of Industrial Engineers, Professional Mwmber Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Society. Dr. Samuel has received BS in Agricultural Engineering, MS in Industrial and Production Engineering and Ph.D. in Agricultural & Environmental Engineering from University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
