MISS DIG 811's Special Pilot Certification Program
MtM: Theory of Locating Training

In collaboration with the Construction Safety Research Center (CSRC), the MISS DIG 811 Education Department is pleased to offer you an exciting two-week training program of its Maintain the Marks: Theory of Locating. The Workshop consists of Electromagnetic Theory, proper use of your underground pipe locator, and its real-world application.

Employers and employees who want to understand underground utility locator responsibilities, how to recognize most buried utilities, and how to protect their employees from occupational hazards on construction sites will not want to miss this opportunity.

Upon completing, you’ll receive the following:

  • A MISS DIG 811 Safe Excavation Practices Certification
  • A MISS DIG 811 approved MtM: Theory of Locating Certification
  • CEC credits for Drinking Water, Waste/Water, and Pre-Licensure of Residential Builder and Residential Maintenance
