INCREASE IN NUMBER OF CADIOVASCULAR SURGERIES FROM 2014-2040
The curriculum aligns with the Master's degree level standard of Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) and the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) Qualifications Framework. Lawrence Technological University's Master's of Cardiovascular Perfusion program is pending accreditation by CAAHEP. This program also provides the appropriate depth and breadth of knowledge, applied, specialized preparation in critical thinking and scholarly research, problem-solving and analysis, communications, leadership, professional capacity, and autonomy in the field of cardiovascular perfusion. Once accredited, students will be eligible to write their board exams through the ABCP allowing licensure and work eligibility nationwide (with the exception of the state of Nevada, which requires additional licensure). As a part of the NC-Sara Reciprocity agreement, Lawrence Technological University is required to disclose publicly, the educational requirements for professions that require a license or certification to practice in that field*. This disclosure is not affected by the method of delivery of the program: online, on ground or hybrid. The full list of programs and certificates and their satisfaction of requirements can be found in the table listed below and on each individual college website.
Current and prospective students are encouraged to contact the licensing board of the state or territory in which they wish to practice post-graduation for further information and possible additional requirements. The table below is a good faith effort to provide the most current information on Lawrence Technological University programs and their status with regards to individual state requirements.
